TIGRE BLEU is first and foremost a survival instinct.
A vital need to exorcise monsters in the midst of chaos.

Composed over 25 days in a sterile hospital room to the sound of beeping machines, the tracks on the “149” album speak of life and death.
The music is electronic, the rhythms meticulously crafted as if on an operating table, ambient and cold-wave synthesizers accompany heady melodies.he melancholy vocals are softly posed and sometimes scream their distress.

In this album, hot and cold confront each other, but together they find peace, only to sink into gentleness.

Having grown up musically with artist Oklou in their project Boys in Lilies, then with the duo Toukan Toukan, Laure Berneau now presents herself as TIGRE BLEU.

Once freed from her demons and released by the doctors, she vows to put together a Girls Band to bring her songs to life on stage: on keyboards, Fanny Libéreau(Philémone), on bass Edwige Thirion(Sun Gasol), on drums Annabelle Arnault(Grande, Chevalien).

In October 2023, they meet for the first time around the compositions of Tigre Bleu. Mutual artistic admiration and similarities in life paths strengthen the bonds between the four members, who see this cathartic project as a way of pouring out their emotions and expelling all forms of unhappiness.

"This music is graceful and impalpable, like a dream. The electro here is fluid, and seems to be able to walk through walls, so present is it that it is sometimes staggeringly subtle. A veritable mental refuge, in this inner space where everything happens when the body lets go. And the world around falters. This is where another dimension presents itself to you. Tigre Bleu has captured it, and masterfully restored it to us.

indiepoprock.fr | Yan Koutan

"At a time when everyone is rediscovering Kate Bush via Stranger Things, Tigre Bleu continues the tradition of nursery rhymes beyond reality, where worlds and dreams can be just as much a source of comfort as terror. Music of a cottony landscape, she guides the audience with her lyrical voice and impresses with her ability to approach 1,000 faces so that only her particularity is remembered. Songs for thousands but designed for intimacy."

Indiechronique.fr

"An intimate style that borders on melancholy, with intonations of Bjork in Laure's crystalline voice..." "

La Nouvelle République | Pascal landré

"One of the most promising musical projects in the Touraine region".
